1. La Pirata Kitchen’s Official Debut at The Hooping Life’s NYC Premiere

    Yesterday, at Manhattan’s Broad Street Ballroom, there was a hooping showcase and the premiere of a documentary on the phenomenon, The Hooping Life. I was graciously asked to provide cupcakes and I obliged, bringing 150-plus miniature treats, all frosted in my painstakingly formulated coconut-oil-based buttercream. There were chocolate-caramel, vanilla-vanilla, and chocolate-filled coconut. It was a beautiful blast, and I can’t wait till our next event!
